Important information from Citrus County Sheriff's Office regarding new Citrus County Courthouse security guidelines beginning June 17, 2024. Beginning June 17th, a new security protocol will be implemented at the Citrus County Courthouse. No one will be allowed to enter the courthouse with any type of bag, such as a suitcase, backpack, medium to large purse, or other large container. Small purses, lunchboxes, or laptop cases may be permitted upon Courthouse Security approval and inspection. Everyone’s assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.
