Today is World Ranger Day, and the City of Claremont would like to recognize our amazing Park Rangers! The City’s Park Rangers patrol Claremont’s urban and rural parks by bike, off-road vehicle, and on foot, and they work jointly with other departments and agencies, including the Community Services Department, the Claremont Police Department, and the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Park Rangers also support and engage the community in activities within City parks, and they facilitate environmental awareness and education on the proper use of City parks through regular contact with park users.   Today, we pay tribute to our Park Rangers, who ensure the protection of our natural resources and the safety of our park users. #rangerday #chwp

Today is National Intern Day, and the City of Claremont would like to recognize and thank our hard-working interns! Our interns fill roles in various City departments and divisions, from Engineering and Planning to Administrative Services. Interns have always been an integral part of the American workforce. An internship is a great way to learn more about the industry that one might be interested in, and a good internship can be a stepping stone to a fulfilling career. Interns are truly the leaders of tomorrow—and we are happy to celebrate them today! #internday #nid
