Sometimes, a tech solution is so simple that it’s hiding right under your nose. Recently, our partners at Westcor Land Title Insurance Company® were working on a digital solution to better serve their agents. The goal was to create an online agency application - which sounds simple but requires a complex workflow because of the documentation involved. While they were researching options for a tech solution, we at GridBase® happened to hear about the challenges they were facing. It occurred to us that we already had tech in our arsenal that, used a bit differently, could solve the issues they were facing. So we said, “Wait a minute, we can do that for you. And we can do it really quickly.” Using deep industry knowledge and true collaboration between our development team and the folks at Westcor Land Title Insurance Company®, we were able to create the solution in just under a month. All it took was a conversation between colleagues to discover that the problem and solution were living under the same roof. It resulted in a truly successful collaboration for the Ardán® companies, and it serves as a great reminder to - at times - look inward first. Because sometimes, the solution is hiding in plain sight. What’s more, in the process of building the online application, we stumbled across another tool that Westcor wants to bring to their agents.
