The City of Fremont’s minimum wage increased to $17.30 per hour beginning on July 1, 2024. Employers are required to pay at least the minimum wage for all hours worked to hourly employees who perform work within the geographic boundaries of the City of Fremont. Employers are also required to post the official City of Fremont Wage Bulletin in the top five languages spoken in the city in a conspicuous place at each work site. The Official Bulletins, including translated versions, are available for download on the City’s Minimum Wage webpage at https://lnkd.in/gEv_rFUm. To avoid a reduction in the valuable services they provide to the community, the minimum wage ordinance exempts employees of non-profit corporations.
