It was fantastic to catch up with and meet multiple government and private sector colleagues at the PMI Global Knowledge Forum and #LACS2024. Over the week, Ieva discussed CAD Trust's mission to link carbon credit registry data in a decentralised market and the value it provides governments, the private sector, and the general public with a range of esteemed panellists and other stakeholders. Thank you Gemma Torras i Vives, Flavia Rosembuj, IETA and ASOCARBONO and everyone else who contributed to making the two events a success. Coming home with plenty of notes from the rich discussions. Please reach out if you would like to pick up the conversation!

Happy to have followed Week 1 of Article 6 negotiations at the UNFCCC #BonnClimateConference (#SB60). Delegates, including our Council members, are hard at work to advance international carbon market mechanisms at #COP29. Negotiations are also underway on a New Collective Quantified Goal on Climate Finance. We look forward to strong outcomes on both later this year. The CAD Trust infrastructure links, aggregates and harmonizes data from private and public carbon crediting programs to build trust, help avoid double counting, and enable high integrity carbon markets in service of the Paris Agreement.
