"I wish I had this book to give the great PR people I hired over the years. For applicants it surely would have helped them pass our writing test. As the public relations director for a major corporation and the editor of my college student newspaper, I could have used it myself." —Jack Guthrie, founder and CEO of Guthrie/Mayes (now GMPR), one of the largest independent public relations firms in the Southeast 🎉Check out all of the fantastic feedback we've received for the hot-off-the-press book Editing. Last night I had the pleasure of participating in a wonderful event in Michigan at The Vicksburg District Library hosted in partnership with the town’s independent bookstore, Gilbert and Ivy, LLC, Bookshop.org It was a great evening of conversation, sharing stories from Remember The First Ladies in a moderated discussion with the librarian and answering insightful questions from the audience. The highlight for many was a fun First Ladies quiz, where I tested their first lady knowledge with questions like “who was the first, first lady to sit in on cabinet meetings?” I’m grateful to Gilbert and Ivy, LLC and the Vicksburg Library for organizing such a memorable event and a book signing. A big thanks to everyone who joined us at the library, including many family and friends from Indian Lake and the Vicksburg area who came to support me. #RememberTheFirstLadies Cognella

I had the privilege of visiting the ST Engineering Women's Leadership Group in Lincolnton, NC, this week. It was an inspiring morning filled with insightful conversations about the impact and legacies of First Ladies here in the United States. The audience was incredibly engaged, with lots of thoughtful questions. Notably almost a quarter of the attendees were men! Their interest and participation highlighted the importance of inclusive discussions in advancing women's leadership. Really glad to spend the morning with such a dynamic group. Thank you to LeeBoy for hosting and to Women@Work, led by Dianne Howells, President and CEO of Miltope, for inviting me to speak at your bi-annual leadership team meeting. #RemembertheFirstLadies
