Colleton Medical Center is excited to announce the relocation of Coastal Carolina Surgical Specialists from 120 Medical Park Drive to: 302 Medical Park Drive Suite 215 Walterboro, SC 29488 Attending physicians Karl Stiegler and James Scott are experts in general surgery providing comprehensive treatment and care for patients with surgical issues of the abdomen, esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, gallbladder, and hernias at Coastal Carolina Surgical Specialists. Dr. Stiegler and Dr. Scott support their patients' effective care and recovery through advanced technology and techniques; including laparoscopic and robotically performed procedures, colonoscopy, and upper endoscopy. “The new 4,451 square foot office has eight spacious and state-of-the-art exam rooms for Dr. Scott and me to continue to provide high-quality compassionate care,” said Dr. Karl Stiegler. “The thought of needing surgery can cause many to be anxious and apprehensive. Blaire Stanfield, Director of Infection Prevention recently earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in leadership from South University. Tiffany Norton-Cornette, Director of Communications and Community Engagement recently earned a Master of Science in Corporate and Organizational Communication with a concentration in public and media relations from Northeastern University.
