Yesterday, Governor Ron DeSantis appointed Melissa Blazier as Collier County Supervisor of Elections. Blazier has worked at the Supervisor of Elections office since 2006 and prior to her appointment, she served as Chief Deputy Supervisor of Elections under Jennifer J. Edwards, who retired in April. The Golden Gate Civic Association is going to host a candidate forum and straw poll on Tuesday, July 9, at the Golden Gate Community Center from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.!
