We’ve focused on Generosity in July all month in support of older adults in the community, and these are just a few of the volunteer opportunities Unum Group employees have participated in: • In Baton Rouge a team packed 150 hygiene kits and played Bingo with residents of the Oak Park Plaza Senior Living Home. • We wrote messages of encouragement on flowerpots for Senior Services North Fulton - SSNF. • Several members of the Worcester team visited the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester and created cards of connection for Elder Services of Worcester Area, Inc. and shared with older adults in the community. • Employees played trivia and ate lunch with veterans and their spouses at the Southern Maine Agency On Aging's Community Cafe. • We Shared a Smile with the Southern Tennessee Area Agency on Aging and Disability. • Columbia employees packed meals for Meal on Wheels through Senior Resources Inc.

It’s been another fun-filled week of Unum Group employees showing our #CaringSpirit in our communities. We welcomed campers from Camp Susan Curtis to our Portland campus for a day of fun and career exploration. In Columbia, we had fun calling bingo and serving lunch for a group of seniors through Senior Resources Inc. Bingo was popular this week as we also enjoyed announcing numbers at the Glenwood Community Center in Chattanooga. Students from United Way of the Midlands, YOUNG MEN UNITED Young Men United came to our offices in Columbia to gain career advice from our Unum Group employees. Several Portland employees served lunch and helped with an event at the Community Café in Hollis with the Southern Maine Agency on Aging. #ColonialLifeCares
