About us

Founded in 2006, the Columbia Venture Community is a private, global network of more than 6,000 Columbia University alumni, students, and staff who are interested in all aspects of entrepreneurship, tech, and innovation. Our mission is to foster entrepreneurship within the Columbia innovation ecosystem by facilitating communication, providing access to resources, and creating a vibrant and supportive community. To this end, we promote in-person and virtual events in cities around the globe, including happy hours, startup pitch events, incubation seminars, speaker panels, webinars, dinners, and more.
