Last night, we hosted our second happy hour with members of the Boston Young Professionals Association (BYPA). It’s always a pleasure to connect with fellow entrepreneurs from various industries, sharing insights and building valuable relationships.

A group of our top-performing advisors ventured to San Diego, CA for the 2024 Leaders Conference. While exploring the city, the group celebrated their successes and connected with peers and other top performers.

We love engaging with our community! Last week, we joined the Friends Council to celebrate 15 years of fostering the next generation of philanthropists for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston. It was a festive evening of live music, entertainment, a silent auction, and networking. Special shoutout to Friends Council members, Cameron Monette, CFP®, IAR and Sarah Hayes, CFP®, for their dedication to closing the opportunity gap and improving economic mobility for Boston's developing youth.

At CFG, we prioritize building strong community bonds. We are pleased to announce that Elizabeth Mullen, CLF®, our Director of Business Development, has been elected to the Board of Directors for Stay Work Play New Hampshire (SWP), a nonprofit dedicated to attracting and retaining young people in the state. Elizabeth’s experience and passion for helping others will be invaluable in shaping SWP’s strategy, overseeing advocacy efforts, and representing the local community. High-fives were given all around during Bio-Ball's annual basketball tournament! CFG participated as a team this year, partnering with Special Olympics Massachusetts athletes for an inclusive day of scrimmages, skills and drills, and a free throw contest. The event raised a remarkable $436,440 for Special Olympics. Volunteering for events like this highlights our unwavering dedication to making a positive impact in our community.

We are so proud of our Managing Director, Sam Philbrook, CLF, who received the Gold Community Service Award for his philanthropic initiatives with Friends of Jack Foundation. A generous $10,000 donation from the MassMutual Foundation will support Friends of Jack in providing programs that benefit the physical, mental, and emotional health and well-being of children undergoing treatment. Last month, we celebrated the achievements of our fastest-growing advisors in Concord, MA. We enjoyed perfect weather, an afternoon grilling session, and a leisurely walk for ice cream. The evening wrapped up with valuable discussions on their achievements, strategies for boosting activity and business, and our most anticipated goals for the year ahead.

At our firm, growth isn't just a value – it's a way of life. That's why our advisors are always seeking new learning opportunities. Recently, a select group journeyed to Washington D.C. for the MassMutual Academy. CFG hosted a private dinner on the Vue Rooftop, providing an opportune space for advisors to forge valuable connections and enjoy well-deserved fun with peers.
