Create an Action Plan: Break down your goals into smaller, manageable tasks. This makes the process less overwhelming and provides a clear path to follow. 8. Last night, Concorde Education had the privilege of co-sponsoring and attending a powerful event hosted by the George Pataki Leadership Center, commemorating the 23rd anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. While I do not need any help remembering that fateful day, as it remains forever etched in my mind, the evening was a profound reminder of the resilience and unity that followed. In the aftermath of the attacks, Governor George Pataki played a pivotal role in uniting #NewYorkCity and the nation as we began the long journey of recovery and rebuilding. His leadership in the days, months, and years that followed the attacks was instrumental in the physical and emotional reconstruction of New York City. From the establishment of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation to guide the rebuilding efforts, to his work securing billions in federal aid, Governor George Pataki was at the forefront of making sure New York emerged stronger. His resolve helped foster a sense of hope and determination when it was needed most. Additionally, it is also a true honor to be associated with the Pataki Leadership Center for its long-standing commitment to #education. The first charter school established in #NewYorkCity was the Harlem Children's Zone Promise Academy, founded in 2004. The Harlem Children's Zone Promise Academy became a model for charter schools across the country, focusing on not only academic success but also addressing the broader social and economic challenges faced by the community. This initiative was made possible by the charter school movement, which gained momentum after Governor George Pataki signed New York’s charter school legislation into law in 1998. We are proud to stand alongside such an esteemed institution co-sponsoring this event along with National Football League (NFL), Bloomberg Philanthropies, APPEAL OF CONSCIENCE FOUNDATION, Red Apple Group, and The Earle I. Mack Foundation. Together, we continue to inspire leadership, resilience, and progress for a better future."
