Shout out to Morehead Construction on finishing up their portion of the new maintenance building for Bixby Public Schools. It is 22,500 sq ft and will be used for storage and maintenance staff offices. The covered, open bay on one end allows for equipment and materials to be unloaded effeciently. Yale between 81st & 91st is open, and it is beautiful! The most expensive street project in Tulsa history, this new road replaces one that was built before South Tulsa was a population and commercial center. The old road was actually sliding down the hill. The new one is built to last for decades to come. It was also designed in collaboration with the surrounding neighborhoods. I am grateful for the way City Councilor Phil Lakin engaged them in the process and made sure our engineers at the City of Tulsa were on the same page. And it came in $9 million under budget! Stakeholder engagement, excellence in design, and under budget: this is the model for what street projects in Tulsa should be.

We are thrilled to announce the completion of the new accessible playground at Bethany Earl Harris Elementary! Thanks to the school's incredible leadership, along with generous donations from several individuals and organizations including #CECCivilServants, this once dirt area has been transformed into a top-notch recreational space for children of all abilities. Over $200,000 in labor, materials, and dollars were donated to make this dream a reality. Congratulations on finishing such a wonderful project for the community! #BethanyOK

Congrats to our #HoopDreams2024 Champs!🏀 Thank you to all of the event sponsors, teams, coaches, volunteers, friends and family that came out to shoot some hoops, support a cause, and cheer each other on at the 10th Annual Hoop Dreams Tournament over the weekend.
