Science Beyond the Classroom, Powered by Constellation provides free admission for every Maryland student and educator visiting the Maryland Science Center on a field trip, including 85,000 students just last year. We’ve recommitted our support of this impactful program through the end of the decade, helping to make science education at one of the state’s cornerstone institutions even more accessible.

By day, Johan Ulloa helps lead our Energy Solutions team. But when the Key Bridge collapsed in our headquarters’ city of Baltimore earlier this year, he immediately answered the call as part of his service in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve. Hear him reflect on his role in the recovery effort. In response to the tragedy and its economic impacts, Constellation has donated $200,000 to the Baltimore Community Foundation and Baltimore Civic Fund, aiding families of victims, first responders and port workers. It’s about doing our part to back our city and supporting our active reservists so they can do their part, too.

Happy Women’s Equality Day! From our Constellation Women’s Network employee resource group to volunteering with nonprofits that support women and everything in between, we promote equity both within our company and in the communities we serve. Our commitment was recently recognized in Parity.Org's 2024 ParityLIST, which spotlights organizations with policies, benefits and programs that promote equal advancement opportunities in the workplace.

We’re proud to be the Baltimore Ravens Official Clean Energy Provider, and we’ve been bringing the energy to training camp this summer! Fans tested their reflexes in a fun new game to keep our always-on power running. Good luck this season to our hometown team!

The team at R.E. Ginna Clean Energy Center in upstate New York proudly opened its doors to about 600 people for Community Information Night! The event featured more than 20 displays detailing the various job functions at the site as well as several hands-on demonstrations, including in our control room simulator. From supportive local officials to curious families and youngsters, we appreciate the community’s engagement as we pulled back the curtain and showcased how our New York nuclear fleet supports local economies while providing nearly half of the state’s carbon-free energy, reliably and safely.

Constellation recently celebrated a new partnership with Texas State Technical College Waco, made possible through our Powering Change workforce development effort with flagship nonprofit SkillsUSA. As part of the event, Constellation employees interacted with TSTC-Waco students and hosted sessions to showcase various careers in energy.
