Some systems at RWJBarnabas Health have been impacted by the Global Microsoft outage. This is not a cyberattack. Our teams are working to remediate the issue as soon as possible. As always, patient safety is our highest priority. Out of an abundance of caution, we are delaying some scheduled procedures until this situation is resolved and will share updates as they are available. Thank you for your patience. #LetsBeHealthyTogether

Ken Baris has an immense feeling of gratitude when it comes to living in a community that has CBMC. “They saved my mother’s life, they saved my father’s life, and now, they have saved my life.” Nearly 26 years after his father's life-saving kidney transplant at CBMC, Ken found himself having a 90 percent blockage in the left anterior descending artery of his heart. Under the watchful care of Dr. Sabino Torre, who Ken credits for "literally saving his life," Ken was back to work and back to his active lifestyle two weeks post op.
