September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month 🧡 We know that mental health and youth homelessness are deeply connected. Many young people experiencing homelessness also face overwhelming mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, and thoughts of suicide. No one should face these struggles alone. Let’s break the silence, provide support, and help build a world where all youth feel seen, safe, and supported. #YouAreNotAlone

About us
Follow the website link above to support our mission on #GivingTuesday ! At Covenant House Georgia, we are much more than a shelter. We provide unconditional love and comprehensive support so that our youth can and will realize their fullest potential. In fact, seeing their potential is our greatest motivation. We are optimistic about the power of a stable, loving environment to inspire a fresh start in their lives. It is a privilege to support our youth during some of their most formative years. We empower them to finish high school, start college, gain employment, live independently, and ultimately step out into the world knowing they are prepared to be successful.

Meet Jayden, a resident at our P.J. Garcia Crisis Shelter. He's currently working towards earning his GED, with the unwavering support of his Covenant House Georgia family behind him. Jayden dreams of following in his family's footsteps by becoming a musician. With the recent addition of a full studio on our campus, in partnership with Notes for Notes and Gas South, he's taking full advantage of the resources at CHGA to help him get there. To support more young people like Jayden, visit the link in our bio.

Over the weekend, we hosted a resource fair where our young people connected with career coaches, explored apprenticeship opportunities, and met with various employers—many of whom hired them on the spot! We’re thrilled to see where these opportunities will lead our young people, and we’ll be there to support and celebrate them every step of the way! 💛

By making a generous donation to Covenant House Georgia during this season, you provide essential items like school supplies, clothing, and safe spaces for learning and growth, as well as unconditional love, absolute respect, and relentless support for the youth in our programs. Find out more at the link in our bio!
