We are proud to work with Sandy Hook Promise, as they educate and empower youth and adults to prevent violence in schools, homes, and communities. CTG has engaged with Sandy Hook Promise since 2023 to improve the use of their two internal Salesforce instances. Our Managed Services team provides ongoing support to optimize their day-to-day work and continuously improve their use of technology. Our most recent projects include completing a legacy data migration of 19 million transactional records and implementing best practices for resource efficiency within their automations. These projects have significantly reduced technical debt and improved their user experience internally. Elaina Buzzell attended Midwest Dreamin' in Minneapolis, Minnesota last week! “This conference was a nice balance between developer and admin content. My favorite session was “Your Turn to Speak: Become a Dreamin’ Speaker”, which gave me great ideas for next year. Midwest Dreamin' gets bonus points from me for being hyper-local - I even biked to the event on the last day!” - Elaina Buzzell This summer, Craftsman Technology Group staff members have attended, exhibited, and hosted sessions at 11 events from coast-to-coast. As a primarily-virtual workplace, we appreciate these moments to connect face-to-face with our local communities. #MWD24 #MidwestDreamin #Salesforce

Sara Birchler attended Forcelandia in Portland, Oregon last week! It was her first #Salesforce conference and the biggest highlights for her were the insights on how to incorporate developer concepts into her work as an admin: “My favorite sessions were “4 Dev Fundamentals to Up Your Admin Game” hosted by Kate Lessard and “Convince Your Boss to Prioritize Tech Debt” hosted by Marina Shuman from our client, The Trevor Project. I learned some concrete ways to work more efficiently as an admin and I feel much less intimated by coding and developer tools now. I also went to the Salesforce Women in Tech Portland breakfast on the second day, which had an inspiring panel of women talking about their experiences in the tech world.” - Sara Birchler #Forcelandia #Forcelandia2024

Rachel Ciprotti and Cassi Costoulas attended Southeast Dreamin' in Atlanta, Georgia! They had a wonderful time connecting with colleagues in the Salesforce nonprofit ecosystem and even took the stage for a game show in the style of Family Feud. The breakout sessions were insightful and deeply collaborative, with a specific focus on Nonprofit Cloud. “I always enjoy this event. Nonprofit organizations were well-represented, both as attendees and presenters. The content of the sessions was excellent this year. There is a strong sense of camaraderie at this event and we are already looking forward to Southeast Dreamin' 2025!” - Rachel Ciprotti #Salesforce #SED24 #SoutheastDreamin
