Today, CU proudly hosted the "#NationalYouthSummit2024" on the theme "Youth: The Architect of Viksit Bharat." The summit unfolded as a captivating dialogue on empowering the youth to shape a progressive India. This incredible event has opened the door to wonderful opportunities for internships, networking and much more for our talented students. Our #HACKATHON received the esteemed presence and blessings of our Pro Chancellor - Prof. (Dr) R S Bawa, PVC - AA Prof. (Dr) Vinay Mittal sir, ED - HR Mr. Navjot S Miglani, ED - Management and Law cluster Prof. (Dr) Ramanjeet Singh. In alignment with the vision of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, NID Foundation and Chandigarh Welfare Trust are proud to unveil the Kanyavrat initiative. Dedicated to spreading awareness among adolescent girls about safe and hygienic menstrual practices, ensuring their well-being, this initiative aims to catalyze social and behavioural change, dismantling age-old taboos surrounding menstruation. In pursuit of this noble cause, we will also make an official attempt to create a Guinness World Record by distributing 1.25 Lac free sanitary pads in a single day in Chandigarh.
