This role requires an engineer who is passionate about data and cloud technologies and, as a Cloud Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based data solutions to support various business needs. Day to Day: - Design and implement cloud-based data architectures and pipelines. - Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure data is accurately and efficiently collected, transformed, and loaded. - Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions. - Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and cost-effectiveness. - Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations and policies. - Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and cloud infrastructure to ensure smooth operations. - Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud and data technologies and industry best practice Must-Haves:  - 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role. - Proven experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and required components. - Proficiency in SQL coding and data modeling. - Proficiency in Python coding. - Experience building data pipelines. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
