With the Paris 2024 Olympics on the horizon, our dedicated working group has analyzed potential cyber threats to ensure a secure event for all participants and attendees. Highlights: Nation-State Threats: Increased cyber activities from Russia, Azerbaijan, and China, including espionage, disinformation campaigns, and disruptive attacks. Cybercrime: Surge in phishing attempts, cryptocurrency scams, and business email compromise targeting Olympic themes and attendees. AI-Driven Disinformation: Sophisticated use of artificial intelligence to create convincing false narratives and misinformation. France's Security Measures: Comprehensive strategies by ANSSI, including enhanced knowledge sharing, critical infrastructure protection, and robust response protocols.
