Tackling the Tough Task of Keeping Training Areas Ticking Keeping the roads and fire trails within the Australian Defence Force’s Ranges and Training Areas (RTAs) in good shape is a big job. With over 6,000 kilometers of roads and countless fire trails, inspecting and maintaining these areas takes a lot of time and resources. Civiltech has come up with a game-changing solution—a vehicle-mounted sensor system that can survey roads up to three times faster. 🌟 It’s time for another #MeetTheCyvlians spotlight! 🌟 Say hello to Dan McCarthy, our VP of Product! Dan loves working at Cyvl.ai because he’s tackling a problem we all care about—fixing our roads. 🛣️ When asked to describe Cyvl in three words, he summed it up as “Fixing gnarly roads.” Dan brings an abudance of skills from his previous experiences at Kard, SessionM, Bulger Partners, and Deloitte. Dan’s favorite part of the job? Getting back in the room with our team, where brainstorming with our talented engineers leads to some seriously productive sessions. His go-to productivity tip? Focus on the big picture and tune out daily distractions—a must in the startup world! 🧐 Fun fact: Dan’s not sure he’d last long on a deserted island, but he’d definitely bring a Cyvl road sensor to keep tabs on the infrastructure! He’s visited all but 7 states, is an early bird, and could happily eat sushi forever. 🍣
