Thank you, Fraternal Order of Eagles Dallas, for raising crucial funds to support the children and families DCAC serves. FOE Dallas has supported DCAC for over 20 years! This year, they awarded DCAC a $2,000 grant and then raised money through concession sales, give-back days, and year-round events to raise over $14,000 for DCAC. Thank you, FOE Dallas, for your ongoing support of our mission and for your commitment to serving the children in Dallas County who need us most! #dallascac #dcac #cactx #donor #donationspotlight

Providing Justice and Restoring Hope
About us
The mission of Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) is to improve the lives of abused children in Dallas County and to provide national leadership on child abuse issues. DCAC coordinates the investigation and prosecution of the most severe cases of child abuse in our community. Last year DCAC served over 7,300 children (and their non-offending family members) who were sexually abused, severely physically abused, or who had witnessed a violent crime. DCAC provides a warm, child-friendly environment to help children who are referred by law enforcement or CPS. Our average client is a 9-year-old girl, sexually abused by someone she knows and trusts.

We are endlessly proud of this team and the pivotal part they play in each child's journey towards healing and hope when they come to the Center. Each day, this team stands with children as they recount their experiences of abuse to show them that they are not alone and that justice is possible. While this week may provide a break from the heat, it's important to remember that a parked car can heat up quickly! While it might not feel super hot outside, the temperature inside your car can rise by almost 20° in 10 minutes. Always double-check that children and pets are not left unattended inside parked cars, and in case of emergency, call 911. We hope everyone is having a fun and safe summer! ☀️ #dallascac #dcac #cactx #summersafety #carsafety
