Why is this important? 🤔 With the rapid adoption of AI in healthcare, it's essential to have standardized metrics that ensure the technology truly benefits clinicians and patients. DeepScore provides this framework, offering transparency and accountability in AI-powered medical scribing. DeepScore focuses on six key elements related to the AI-generated note. When clinicians talk about documenting patient visits, here’s what they mention: - having to remember encounters long after the visit - typing while talking with a patient (but kind of pretending not to) - staying late to finish charting (and missing out on family time) Not ideal for the moment of care. Certainly not ideal for the clinician's day. With that in mind, it’s really satisfying to hear when our ambient AI solves those issues, and makes for a better care experience. The above quote begins a recent MedCity News article. It's from a physician recounting a conversation between her 5 year-old son and the pediatrician. The "computer work" was after-hours clinical documentation. Of course, healthcare organizations of all sizes are battling against the pains of "pajama time" work with ambient AI scribing.
