During a recent team-building week, our B2C Engineering Team came together at our headquarters and dedicated their efforts to developing a "Pie Pickup App." This year will be the 19th year of the apple pie fundraising event at Ozaukee Christian School. A Delta Defense employee and school parent noticed that over 4,000 pies were picked up in just 8 hours last year! This led to significant traffic backups and frustration. Determined to improve logistics, the team collaborated with the school to create a "Pie Pickup App." After reviewing and finalizing plans with the school, our team planned, crafted some wireframes, and developed initial concepts. The team even enjoyed a few delicious homemade apple pies to celebrate their hard work! This past weekend, some of our Delta Defense LLC team members participated in Pulling for Honor at the Appleton Airport. Despite torrential downpours, our team pulled a FedEx cargo jet 12 feet in 9.85 seconds, earning 5th place out of 30 teams!! Way to go Team Delta Defense! It was a day filled with competition, family fun, and a chance to thank our American heroes.
