We’re excited to share that our Senior Interior Designer, Lisa Odor, has been featured in the “Pursue the Passion” blog, discussing the crucial role furniture plays in shaping human experiences. "Furniture is a key component to the success of a space, as it is the grounding element that makes a space more human." Throughout the years, MA Design has completed a variety of projects at OhioHealth's Dublin Methodist Hospital. As part of their strategic master plan to serve the growing Dublin community, we completed a significant two-story addition that includes new LDR and postpartum suites, 15 observation beds, and expanded sterile processing areas. This project came with unique challenges, such as building over an active MRI scanner and seamlessly expanding through an existing exterior wall. These complexities didn't just test our skills—they reinforced our commitment to enhancing the healthcare environment for caregivers, patients, and their families. We’re dedicated to creating spaces that improve patient care and elevate the healing experience."

Our Experiential Design (XD) team loves creating iconic moments that enhance visitor experience while staying true to your brand. This is especially true at HAWA Engineers' new office, where the XD team focused on three prominent features: a Brand Wall, a Project Wall, and a People Wall. The Brand Wall displays HAWA’s expertise through materials that highlight the systems they design and is visible from outside the office. Located behind the reception desk, the Project Wall highlights projects through the decades with photos and detailed engineering drawings. The People Wall can be easily updated and includes professional and personal photos to foster community and conversation. These elements not only bring HAWA’s engineering expertise to life but also create a modern, engaging space that supports recruitment and employee satisfaction. https://loom.ly/UsYiZQ8

At MA Design, we turn insights into action through our Visioning Sessions. By combining data-driven research with collaborative workshops, we help stakeholders shape a project vision that reflects their goals and values. These interactive sessions allow stakeholders to voice their thoughts on aesthetics, furniture, and branding, ensuring the final design truly reflects their vision. We combine our findings into a Creative Brief that serves as a roadmap for success throughout the project. This is a key element of our comprehensive planning and programming approach.

The transformation of Mount Hall at The Ohio State University is inspiring. The 75,000 SF brutalist building was completely renovated into a technology-driven, state-of-the-art space for the OCIO and ODEE departments. By removing most interior walls, partitions, and ceilings, we've brought natural light deeper into the space, fostering an environment for collaboration and innovation.
