#FlashbackFriday In honor of #ImmunizationMonth, a look back at the Strikeforce Immunizers Team in 2021. Assembled in the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this team of pharmacists and nurses led Diamond's efforts to inoculate residents of many long-term care communities against COVID-19. Though the work of the Strikeforce Immunizers ended with the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency, the team is one memorable example of Diamond marshalling resources companywide at the height of the pandemic.

🌑 On this #MoonDay, are you curious what emergency medications the Apollo 11 astronauts had when they landed on the moon 55 years ago? (Well we are!). According to the National Air and Space Museum, Smithsonian Institution , Armstrong and Aldrin's emergency medical kit, stashed in the Lunar Module, contained minor first-aid supplies (bandages, eyedrops), plus four pain killers (Darvon), four stimulant pills (Dexedrine), aspirin, and pills to treat diarrhea. #FlashbackFriday An aerial view of the new Kolter Drive (Gilbert Zilner Boulevard) production facility and headquarters, circa 1997. Ground breaking for the $1.7 million, 33,000 square foot facility took place in 1995, with construction complete by 1997. Diamond was the first company to purchase land in the Indiana County Commerce Park. In 2003, we added another 80,000 square feet to the building footprint to accomodate a rapidly growing number of corrections and long-term care pharmacy customers.
