About us

Started as Next Generation Baseball back in September 2017 by Jeremy Frank (@MLBRandomStats), we became Diamond Digest in November 2018. No matter the name, we always strive to be guided by knowledge and information in advancing every fan’s understanding of the game. So, who are we? We are journalism majors and mathematicians, economists and teachers, old-school and new-school. Many of us are just starting off in baseball journalism. But more importantly than anything else, we are baseball fans, young and old, with the opportunity to write about the sport we all love as students of the game. Whether it’s breaking news or a heavily-researched opinion piece, our goal is always the same: to bring you the best, most thought-provoking baseball content on the internet.
