    As the streaming wars continue to build, we’re starting to see the volume of originals plateau and in some cases shrink slightly. As a result, there’s even more scrutiny on older ‘classic’ content and the value that brings to a portfolio. With this in mind, we launched a Completed Content data feed, which is a way to understand interest and engagement levels for these valuable titles. Completed and/or canceled shows continue to prove their worth. Take Suits for example, which went on to become one of the most streamed titles of 2023 despite being canceled in 2019 and then ‘uncanceled’ and fans are now eagerly awaiting Netflix spinoff Suits: L.A. Currently, across the 200 most engaged with show titles, 20% are completed and/or cancelled shows. There is a lot of interest in bringing recognizable content back to prior and new viewers alike, but how do you value that content? Our Completed Content dataset allows you to determine potential value before licensing takes place. It includes day by day data for hundreds of the most valuable, licensable, completed shows and features engagement data and audience analysis insights to help illuminate how any title would fit with others.     As the Democratic Party aligns behind Kamala Harris as the presidential nominee, discussion has shifted toward VP candidates. Here at Diesel Labs, we monitor audience engagement across the entire media landscape to find out who's capturing attention and why. We took a cross-platform look across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Wikipedia. The candidates emerging as favorites based on engagement (comments, likes, shares, etc) are Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Senator Mark Kelly, Governor Josh Shapiro and Governor Tim Walz. Notably, the candidates differ in engagement based on the specific signal source. For example, Mark Kelly pops among those perusing Wikipedia for information on the candidates, whereas Pete Buttigieg has captured audience attention on Twitter. And interestingly, Tim Walz has come from behind in the last day or two to rank with the frontrunners across the board. We also ran all the discourse around the frontrunners through our AI sidekick ‘Daisy’ who is programmed to be knowledgeable on all facets of the media industry (she knows how content is performing, what people are looking forward to, what media companies are investing in, and much more). AI summaries highlight facets of each candidate that make them a strategically interesting or notable pick for the job, alongside criticisms from across the political spectrum that are being actively discussed.
