National Church Residences is the largest provider of affordable housing to seniors in the country. The Golf Classic raises money for the benefit of the Chaplaincy, Hospice and Palliative Care programs and other programs and enrichment for residents of the National Church Residences communities. Public finance partner Erin Sutton gave a brief address and introduced the dinner keynote speaker Sky Bergman. In December of 2023, Federal Rule of Evidence 702 was amended to clarify and emphasize the court’s gatekeeping role in deciding what expert testimony is permitted at trial.
