About us
The Division on Addiction is a non-profit research center at Cambridge Health Alliance, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital. The mission of the Division is to alleviate addiction-related social, medical, and economic burdens through research, education, training, and outreach. The Division’s research focuses on addiction and its many expressions, including substance-related (e.g., alcohol, opioids) and behavioral (e.g., gambling). The Transparency Project (thetransparencyproject.org) is the first ever public data repository for datasets collected by multidisciplinary addiction researchers working throughout the world. The Division’ is committed to providing focused, clinical and research training opportunities for students, interns, fellows, visiting faculty and other professionals.
