Live Nation is located in North Mass District and their current office was once a dilapidated old building...old dilapidated buildings are kind of our thing, so we loved breathing new life back into the exterior and interior of this beautiful old building. :::::::::::: Project Details :::::::::::: > Adaptive Reuse > Class A Office > 5,600 sf :::::::::::: Project Team :::::::::::: > Tenant :: Live Nation > Architect :: DKGR > Construction Manager :: Stenz #constructionmanager  #constructionmanagment  #generalcontractor  #generalcontracting #propertymanagement #facitlitymaintenance  #indianapolisgeneralcontractor #indianapolisconstructionmanager  #commercialconstruction

DKGR was recently entrusted by Brent E. Benge / KennMar with the renovation of Roche-Dinkeloo's iconic Pyramids in Indianapolis. The project repositioned the buildings’ elevator lobbies, fitness center, tenant lounge, and conference center. The iconic exterior concrete was recoated and illuminated, entrance portals redesigned, entry plazas reconfigured and a shaded walking trail loop installed. A couple new DKGR hospitality projects in the fine state of Colorado.  A food and beverage concept focused on live music in Littleton and a small boutique hotel in Montrose. The former is new-build using a hybrid construction method of steel and CLT while the latter is a historic restoration and adaptive re-use.

Exciting News in Indianapolis’ Near-Eastside! Introducing Gathyr Apartments: Where history meets modernity in the heart of downtown Indy. Jeremy Stephenson, Managing Partner at 1820 Ventures, and DKGR Founding Principal John Albrecht thoughtfully crafted Gathyr to preserve the character of the Holy Cross neighborhood. Eclectic interiors pay homage to the late Bill Oesterle, Founder of Angie’s List, while communal spaces foster community and offer breathtaking skyline views from the rooftop. “The fact that Elevator Hill as a whole is actually a bit larger than Bottleworks, and a bit closer to the city center than Bottleworks is, making it more visually connected, gives it that same level of potential as far as a new district near downtown,” Albrecht said. Gathyr isn't just an apartment complex; it's a vision for Elevator Hill's revitalization and a testament to urban development done right. Discover how the flagship project at Elevator Hill redefines urban living with a blend of contemporary design, community spirit, and a nod to Holy Cross Neighborhood's rich heritage: https://lnkd.in/gE-iZvk7 #Indy #ElevatorHill #UrbanRevitalization #UrbanLiving

Milhaus and DKGR both hung our own respective shingles in Indianapolis in 2010. We've worked collaboratively over the course of nearly that entire timeline. We were honored when they entrusted us to deliver them a new HQ on East Washington St. when they outgrew their beloved office in Fountain Square. An update from Milhaus 1.0 to 2.0 if you will. The existing building at 550 E. Washington St. is designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and connections. Originally built in the 1920’s as an automotive showroom and manufacturing facility the objective of the design was to showcase the building’s original historic roots while becoming a modernized hub of collaboration for the nationally recognized multi-family developer. Being authentic and honest to the existing bones became the driving force by repurposing the existing concrete and steel frame. The building offers a unique quality for dynamic spaces flooded with natural light that serve both Milhaus employees and guests alike. The design serves a nimble workforce and sets up the integrated branding used throughout to further reinforce the company culture, mission, and personality.   The adaptive re-use puts the most profound gesture of sustainability into action. That gesture is one that embraces the existing and creatively re-purposes it for today’s calling. The integrity of the 100-year-old building, leverages its character as a natural backdrop for this modernization.

A good reminder that 'impactful' is not always synonymous with 'big'. The relatively small not-for-profit Arthur Dean Family Foundation is making big impact in the world of youth education, employment and career pathways. Kudos to them for putting down stakes in the heart of where the need is near 38th/College. DKGR was honored to design their HQ and grantee convening space in an old mid-century HVAC office and maintenance shop. https://lnkd.in/gkRdaV3h https://www.dkgrar.com/

DKGR was recently engaged by Rubenstein Partners to work alongside JLL to rejuvinate the 'face' of Parkwood Crossing, a development that begun 30+ years earlier. The budget was modest and the schedule was aggressive so we narrowly focused our attention on the primary entry points of each building to optimize the investment, visibility and impact. Always been one of my favorites. University of Southern Indiana Welcome Center designed by DKGR in Evansville. Letting the building form react to the topography where the lines between landscape and roof are heavily blurred.
