Big congratulations to our outstanding team! DKS is honored to be part of the team that received the California Transportation Foundation's Complete Streets Project of the Year Award for the City of Westminster's Garden Grove Boulevard Complete Streets Project. As a proud member of the Mark Thomas-led team, DKS played a pivotal role in this transformative project. The team delivered landscape, civil engineering, ITS, and traffic signal design, focusing on implementing a Class IV bikeway along the north side of Garden Grove Boulevard. DKS developed the ITS, traffic signal, video image detection system lighting design, and railroad signal preemption coordination, seamlessly integrating these systems into the City of Westminster’s Transportation Management Center. Additionally, DKS updated the signal timing and coordination along the corridor to accommodate the new bike phase. We want to thank our incredible project partners: the City of Westminster, CA Public Works Department, Mark Thomas, Fehr & Peers, and Lynn Capouya, Inc. Landscape Architects.
