The fund helps a wide range of underserved farmers and ranchers working to protect farmlands, promote sound farming practices, and keep growers on the land. Take a look at the team of Dominoids who participated in the Motor City Pride parade in Detroit, Michigan; where they celebrated love, advocated for equality, and stood in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community. Led by the Domino’s Business Resource Group, True Colors, the team handed out free pizza, promoted hiring opportunities, and raised money for local nonprofit, Stand with Trans, an organization that advocates for and supports trans youth and their loved ones. A huge congratulations to Joana Mendes, the first woman to win the Domino’s World’s Fastest Pizza Maker title! 🏆 In early May, thousands of Dominoids attended the Domino’s World Wide Rally in Las Vegas, NV where the competition took place. Joana, an assistant manager at Domino’s in Ipswich, England won the title by making three large pizzas in a record-breaking 39.2 seconds! 🍕 From starting with Domino’s as a customer service representative in 2015 to achieving this incredible milestone, Joana’s dedication and passion are truly inspiring.
