The Board of Directors, in partnership with Centennial, are seeking an Executive Director to provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati. The hired candidate will be joining our highly respected organization that operates with the utmost integrity to provide advocacy, outreach, and high-quality programs and opportunities to the Cincinnati community and surrounding counties. It is bittersweet to announce that our Executive Director, Jim Hudson’s, last day at the DSAGC will be Monday, June 17. He has accepted a position as the Executive Director at the National Down Syndrome Congress. Jim has been an exceptional leader since 2012. Throughout his tenure, he has provided imperative guidance to thoughtfully grow our organization in exponential ways! We are forever grateful for Jim’s 12 years of leadership. We wish him all the best as he continues to impact our Down syndrome community on a national level. The Board of Directors is diligently working to identify the DSAGC’s next Executive Director. During this transition, our staff will continue to provide high-quality services and care. We have a very talented team who is earnestly invested in our mission. We are hiring! With the retirement of our long-term Business Manager, we have decided to redefine the role for our current and future administrative needs. The new job title for this position is Operations Manager. This person will supervise the Administrative Team and oversee the finances of the DSAGC. In addition, this person will be responsible for managing tasks related to Human Resources and key vendor relationships. The person in this role must have strong organizational skills, be good with numbers, have sound computer skills, and be an adaptable team player. Ideal candidates for this role would be people with strong administrative skills and sound business acumen. We envision this position averaging 30 hours/week.
