Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. (DFWI) is Downtown Fort Worth's planning, advocacy, public space and project management organization. DFWI serves as a liaison, ombudsman, and information source for property owners, residents, business owners, lenders, community organizations, and policy makers. The mission of Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. is to be the catalyst for transforming Downtown into a vibrant place to live, visit, enjoy and conduct business through aggressive leadership of programs, projects and partnerships. The City of Fort Worth's Master Transportation Plan and Vision Zero Safety Action Plan are simultaneous planning initiatives studying the future of transportation in Fort Worth. The Master Transportation Plan will unify all of Fort Worth’s transportation projects and goals, while the Vision Zero Safety Action Plan aims to end all roadway crashes in Fort Worth resulting in death or serious injury.
