Juan Garzón and Laura Smailes used their expertise from seeing 100s of pitches to walk through a well thought out framework and smart insights for crafting a great pitch. Thanks as always to Do Greater for hosting! ➡️ Kelly Anne O'Neill and Sara Saxner-Coughlin loved serving the patients and families in the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorder unit at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta with the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that raises awareness and funds specifically for childhood cancer research to find better treatments and cures for childhood cancers. Thanks so much for the opportunity to serve. ➡️ Michelle Coviello joined Sam Teden with Anthos Capital for a discussion led by Rick Doten for a group of security professionals to explore the world of Venture Capital (VC). From understanding the pivotal role VCs play in funding high-growth startups to exploring what attracts them—like market potential, innovative tech, and strong teams—they dove deep into the stages of investment from Angel to Series rounds. Discussing the advantages of multiple VC investments for diversification, we also touched on the balance of ownership and control startups navigate as they scale. Insightful discussions on how VCs discover new tech and the importance of having a solid proof of concept highlighted how startups can effectively engage with investors. A big thank you to all who joined us—let's continue driving innovation and collaboration in the tech ecosystem! ➡️ Sara Saxner-Coughlin joined FinTech Atlanta for Run It By The Buyers at UPS Supply Chain Solutions this week. It was a fantastic line-up from sellers like Ronald Herman with Sionic, Mark Chambers with BlinkSky, and Pawan Murthy with REGO Payment Architectures. Enjoyed the update from Noelle London of Illoominus as a past presenter!Great to see ecosystem leaders like Hillery Champagne, Robert "RED" Daniel, MBA, Grant Wainscott, Mark Leonard, Allyson Plosko, Guy Tessler and others. We're looking forward to the next gathering of Fintech Leaders & Innovators! ➡️ The Dualboot Partners Team and our friends had a great time raising money for Speedway Children's Charities and racing go-karts. The event raised over $50,000 and the Dualboot team finished in second place. Darn you Hendrick Motorsports for beating us!
