"In my journey with eating disorder recovery, reaching out and asking for help used to feel incredibly shameful. I struggled with admitting that I needed support, thinking it was a sign of weakness. But now, I've learned that asking for help is one of the strongest, most courageous things I can do. It’s become a go-to practice in my life. Through recovery, I've come to understand the immense value of community. Leaning on others and accepting support is essential in navigating the tough ups and downs of life. Recovery has taught me to work through the shame of struggling and the shame of not being okay. It’s okay to need help. It's okay to ask for it. We all need a help sometimes, and that’s perfectly normal." Love this message from our Mental Health Advocate, Eric Dorsa. 💙
