NEW IONIZABLE LIPIDS: MIC2, DOG-IM4, 80-O18 & 4-O10b1 https://lnkd.in/gb_WRPKe Ionizable lipids play a key role in formulating LNPs used to deliver Nucleic Acid cargo. MIC2 exhibits much higher mRNA translation efficiency compared to the SM-102 LNPs. MIC2-LNP vaccines have higher RBD-specific IgG titers and neutralizing antibody titers than SM-102-based delivery systems mRNA vaccine. DOG-IM4 is an ionizable lipid which can improve mRNA/LNP thermostability in combination with helper lipids. 80-O18 is an ionizable lipid used to generate lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for delivery of proteins. GFP-Cre recombinase fusion protein encapsulated in 80-O18 LNPs was delivered to the cytosol of HeLa-HGM cells. 4-O10b1 LNPs conjugated with the macrophage antibody F4/80 could deliver siRNA targeting TAK1 to RAW264.7 cells resulting in suppressed activation of NF-kB. Echelon's purified Anti-LBPA antibody (Echelon Cat # Z-PLBPA) recognizes an important but unusual eukaryotic lipid, lysobisphosphatidic acid, (LBPA) also termed bis(monoacylglyceryl)phosphate (BMP). LBPA is found primarily in late endosomes and is a cellular marker of this compartment. Lysosomal function is enhanced by BMP, and alterations in this lipid have been linked to diseases such as neurodegeration, atherosclerosis, viral infections, and cancer. Z-PLBPA recognizes BMP lipids and is one of our most popular and well-validated antibodies. #biotech #lipids #antibodies
