Exciting feature in the Charlotte Business Journal last week! Our CEO, Gary Creed, sat down with the CBJ to discuss the skilled labor market in the local construction industry. Rapid growth in the Carolinas creates an elevated need for new construction. Contractors are battling a shifting economy, a high demand for skilled trade work, and a shortage of skilled labor. At EDIFICE, we focus on creating lasting relationships with our trusted local subcontractor network to “keep our projects running on schedule and keep enough manpower.” By taking care of our critical construction partners, we can continue to deliver exceptional projects to our clients. Check out the article to learn more about the current labor market challenges and how we navigate them to ensure project success.
