About us

Element Construction was founded by experienced multifamily professionals with the purpose of forming a dedicated construction company focused on delivering value for the company and its investment partners. We embark on each project with the anticipation of not only maximizing client investment but also surpassing expectations. Our principals and team members actively collaborate in a hands-on manner, ensuring a deeply engaged and personalized approach to each and every project. Based in Greensboro, NC we are engaged in construction and development projects spanning the state of North Carolina, with a notable presence in Asheville. In 2023 we kicked off a new 400-unit project in Fayetteville and have future projects planned in other dynamic markets in the Carolinas including Wilmington and Charlotte.

    Update on Annondale Apartments in Fayetteville We are extremely excited about the progress that we are seeing at Annondale Apartments in Fayetteville, NC. This project is a collaboration with Sweetwater Property Management - we can't wait to begin delivering these units to our property management partner in late 2Q24. John Plageman with Plageman Architecture provided architectural services, developing both clubhouse and apartment buildings that we believe will really standout in the Fayetteville market. Eventual build-out will be comprised of 400 residential units, including a mix of studio, 1BR and 2BR apartments and 3BR townhomes. The property is conveniently located between Bragg Boulevard and All-American Highway, with great proximity to Fort Liberty. In addition to a prime location, the property will offer spacious and well-appointed units, dog park, pet spa, package delivery systems, modern clubhouse and best-in-class pool and patio. Looking forward to more progress as weather gets warmer and we get closer to our opening date!

    "The Duke" in Downtown Asheville In December we broke ground on The Duke, a boutique 103-unit apartment project in the South Slope. Project Description: The project includes the construction of a new L-shaped apartment building over a podium, on-site parking and the adaptive reuse of the existing building for mixed-use purposes including brewery, coffeehouse, additional residential units, rooftop plaza, ancillary storage, leasing office and fitness center. Location: Premium urban location walkable to both downtown Asheville and the South Slope. OZ Designation: Property is located in an Opportunity Zone and is eligible for tax advantages which could include deferral of recognition of capital gains invested into the project until December 31, 2026 and step-up in basis on new development.
