If you’re celebrating the 4th of July with a DIY fireworks show, follow these tips to keep your loved ones and your landscaping safe: 1.) Remove dry leaves, branches, and other flammable materials from your lawn and garden. 2.) Keep your grass and plants well-watered to reduce the risk of fire. 3.) Light fireworks on a flat surface away from plants and trees, and use fire-resistant containers. Stay safe and enjoy the festivities! 🇺🇸🎆 #independenceday #fireworksafety

Overwatering can kill plants just as easily as underwatering! Here's how to tell if your plants could be overwatered: 🍃 Yellow or lime green leaves 🦠 Fungus in the soil or on leaves and stems ⚫ Black spots 💧 Standing water around the base of the plant If you've overwatered your plant, all is not lost! Reduce your watering schedule and allow the soil to dry out between waterings. With your finger, check for dampness a few inches below the surface; don't water again until the soil feels dry.
