No One Gets There Alone

About us

Across America’s hard-to-serve urban areas, public school students drop out of school in alarming numbers, and for those that do graduate, the road to post-secondary education is filled with obstacles. Too many of American’s high school students are underserved and, as a result, are underperforming. A large majority of urban youth lack even one caring adult in their life, leading directly to increased crime, gang, drug activity and other roadblocks to self-sufficiency. The Colorado UpLift model has proven effective in changing these trends and transforming lives of our nation’s youth. Elevate USA supports current UpLift models (Elevate Orlando, Elevate Phoenix, Elevate New York City, and Elevate Indianapolis) while launching new affiliates in cities throughout America.

Stories like Wendy's are the entire reason we do what we do. This video shares the inspiring story of Wendy, a former Elevate student from The Bronx who has become an Elevate Teacher Mentor at the same high school she attended. Follow her journey of struggle, heartache and healing as she emerges as a mentor who is raising the next generation of leaders. Thank you to Elevate New York for the incredible work they are doing in the community. To get involved, go to elevatenewyork.org. 📢 NEW CITY ALERT!🚨⁣ We could not be more excited to announce the launch of Elevate Augusta, the newest addition to our Elevate USA network. The amount of resources required to launch a new affiliate is significant, and collaboration is the reason we're able to grow our network. A huge THANK YOU to our champions in Augusta for making this one of the fastest and smoothest launches yet. Welcome to the fam, Augusta! 🤝#ElevateTheUSA #NoOneGetsThereAlone What city would you like to see Elevate in next?

November: Native American Heritage Month A note from Elevate Navajo and former VP of the Navajo Nation, Myron Lizer: As we start the month of November, Elevate USA and Elevate Navajo wish to honor our First Nations People of America by putting forth a national call to not only observe November as Native American Heritage Month but also to give thanks for The People of this Land, North America (or Turtle Island as the Host People of this great nation call it). Native Americans are still here, and their presence is powerful! Together, let us celebrate the traditions, languages and stories of Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and affiliated Island communities. However, that is something that we all do everyday, for everyday is a good day to be indigenous/Native. There are generations of strong and amazing native people, and resilience is part of our story, so we also celebrate the healing and peace that all indigenous people have been striving towards since the very beginning. Join us in celebrating Native America’s remarkable heritage. So, wherever you call home, take some time to learn about the tribes that are native to your region or state. From the rich cultural diversity to the many languages our Native American brothers and sisters speak, we are grateful for our place in these times. On behalf of Elevate Navajo, and Myron Lizer (former VP of the Navajo Nation), T’ádii kǫǫ honiidlǫ. We are still here. #NativeAmericanHeritageMonth
