We at elm Planning are profoundly saddened by the loss of our co-owner, Dr. Stephen Harrison (Dr. H). Dr. H's influence on our company was, and still is, immeasurable. An expert thought-leader and physician, partnering with a meeting and event planning firm? It may have seemed unconventional, but he believed in us and showed how much of a visionary he truly was. Upon receiving news of his passing, a client expressed their condolences, remarking that "he took people under his wings." This sentiment encapsulates his essence. Dr. H embraced risks, including the substantial one he took on elm Planning during a time of global uncertainty. He served as our mentor, business strategist, and, above all, our staunchest advocate and friend. While our company's work doesn't directly impact patient care, Dr. H consistently emphasized how our services benefited physicians, clinical leaders, sponsors, CROs, and meeting attendees, enhancing their educational experiences—a source of great pride for him. Our thoughts are with his family as they navigate through this difficult time. Thank you, Dr. Harrison, for your unwavering support. You will be deeply missed.
