Last Friday marked the end of an incredible journey as an intern at GoldenTree Asset Management. Over these 10 weeks, I gained invaluable insights, not only into the responsibilities of my role but also into the company and the industry as a whole. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Jacqueline Jacobi for mentoring me throughout this experience. Your guidance was instrumental in helping me grow and learn. A special shoutout to Matthew Amster and Paige Ebner for your unwavering support—your help and guidance made a significant impact on my time at GoldenTree. Special thanks to EWAAB for this opportunity as well as a wonderful program. I’m excited to go into the fall as a mentor! Also, thank you to Georgia Pennington for supporting me as a non-male in tech and the interns I was with throughout this whole process, it’s been a pleasure working with you all! I’m excited to take these experiences and apply them to my future endeavors. Thank you, GoldenTree, for the opportunity to learn and grow in such a dynamic environment! #internship #ewaab #goldentree

"EWAAB is one of the best things I could’ve accomplished for myself. I stepped out of my comfort zone countless of times as a mentee and mentor. My soft skills & public speaking skills improved a lot! EWAAB made me more confident and fearless." Meet Lotus Uong, who recently graduated from McGill University, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Physiology. She started her mentorship journey at EWAAB in 2020 as a mentee and continued as a Primary Mentor in 2021. "I’ve networked and worked with women/non-binary students from Caltech University, Oxford, Texas A&M, McGill & CEOs. I am currently a chief assistant at a newly opened pediatric clinic, working alongside incredible women physicians. And, one day, I’ll be a doctor too! "
