Meet member Dahla from our Rose Center. She enrolled in classes with Literacy Chicago last summer and has since devoted 100+ hours to improving her reading and writing skills. Her goal is to work with children, and she has volunteered in a local library and other settings to gain more experience. On weekends, she also participates in walking and running activities with Peace Runners 773, a nonprofit that advocates for health and wellness in Chicago. We’re so proud of her growth. Way to go, Dahla! Keep up the great work! #EnvisionProud #unlimitedpotential #readingskills #writingskills #adulteducation #independence #healthandwellness #communityinvolvement #inspiringstories
