  • At what age can you start making a positive impact in your community? The answer....ANY AGE. These 2nd grade students and teachers at Ephrata Area School District's Fulton Elementary school were ready to prove it. For the 100th day of school they collected change and raised $176.05 to benefit EASS! This has the potential to feed 1,765 individuals here in our local community. We are so proud of these kiddos for being change makers in the community.

  • Have you started planning your giving strategy for tomorrow's ExtraGive? We know that Lancaster County has some AWESOME non-profits and are so proud to be partners with many of them. Why support EASS? A recent survey of grocery pantry clients showed 46% of clients served ate less food because money was not available to purchase more. 43% had to chose between paying a utility bill or paying for food. These are our neighbors! Encourage your friends, colleagues, and neighbors to participate and give during this important day. Giving levels start at just $10! https://lnkd.in/ek5EM3Ug

  • HUGE thank you to our friends at Harding-Yost Insurance for their pantry take-over on Wednesday. Staff from HYI spent the day volunteering at the pantry including unloading our weekly delivery, stocking the pantry, and helping to organize after the weekend's large food drive. By the end of the day, shelves were fully stocked ready to serve neighbors in need. Business relationships like this one are critical to the success of EASS. We appreciate all of you from HYI for giving time to help support the community.

  • Today is the last day to get your tickets for an Evening at EPAC. www.givebutter.com/eass

Join us this Saturday for an evening of giving. Help EASS make a difference in the lives of those in our community. An Evening at EPAC gives you the chance to be part of something special and help people like Deb. "One word to describe EASS is exceptional. Then I would say friendly, amazing, a good friend to me.  You can count on EASS like you count on your family. They have helped me through hard times. I just love everyone there. My family who lives in Floridia worries about me and asks who helps me up here. I tell them I am ok; I have EASS. They are my family, and I can dependent on them." -Deb, EASS client, neighbor, and friend.
