2022 Fellow Kat Grant, hosted by the Freedom From Religion Foundation, recently spoke with South County Mail about a newly introduced school policy in the Francis Howell School District in Missouri that infringes upon the rights of LGBTQ+ students. Kat, whose project is focused on improving the legal landscape for LGBTQ+ people, scrutinized the policy as "an unjust injection of religious ideologies into school operations."
