As we dive into summer next week, Essex County District Attorney Paul Tucker reminds families to have an assigned, attentive water safety monitor at all times. Tucker was recently joined by Massacusetts State Police TEAMs members Trp. Robert MacAleese, Trp. Jonathan Nugent, and Trp. Scott Viscardi, along with Lisa Nerich, associate commissioner for City of Lynn Department of Public Works, in sharing water safety tips with kids and families for a safe, happy summer.

Change the Play Executive Director Rafael Rosario (aka DJ Lus), far left, and Essex County District Attorney Paul Tucker, far right, celebrated the work of students in the Change the Play program at Lawrence’s RISE Academy today. “Everyone warmed up when we started making music,” Rosario says. “It’s challenging putting yourself in the spotlight, but it builds confidence.” Students in the program will next perform at Lawrence’s upcoming Juneteenth celebration.

It is estimated that approximately $10 million of financial fraud was reported in Essex County last year. If you believe you have been targeted by a scam, please contact your local police department immediately to report the crime.
