Please help us welcome Zabreen Khan to the team!
I am thrilled to start a new chapter investing with Female Founders Fund. 🚀 Anu Duggal started FFF 10 years ago and has made an incredible impact on the tech & venture ecosystem. FFF has a history of backing exceptional entrepreneurs who are running category defining companies like Zola, Maven, Billie, Co-Star, Milk Bar, BentoBox, and ELOQUII. I am grateful to be able to intertwine my work as an investor with my desire to level the playing field for women investors and founders. At FFF, I will be investing in early-stage companies in the software, digital health, consumer, and climate spaces. If you’re a founder or investor, I’d love to hear from you! As I step into my next role, I have so much gratitude for Helen Min and Meena Harris. Being part of the earliest days at Phenomenal Ventures, watching the firm grow, and learning from both of you, has been an invaluable experience. Beyond excited for the road ahead! ⚡️

Big congrats Jennifer Dulski and Rising Team on today's news! Excited by all the momentum and for this next phase of growth!
I’m thrilled to share that Rising Team is announcing our Series A funding of $8M 🎊🎉 This funding round, led by Zeal Capital Partners and supported by our previous investors Peterson Ventures, Roble Ventures, Female Founders Fund, Burst Capital, and Supernode Ventures, will be transformative for us: 🔥 We’re expanding to serve more managers and teams across more industries 🔥 We’re enhancing our platform with a personalized AI leadership coach 🔥 We’re growing our team—yes, we’ll be hiring! If you’re new to Rising Team, here’s a little background: Our software enables managers to lead research-backed team development workshops and connection-building exercises that increase trust and improve team performance without an outside facilitator. By running these software-guided team sessions, Rising Team customers see 20-80% lifts in employee engagement, psychological safety, eNPS, and manager effectiveness 🙌 I believe Rising Team is uniquely poised to address the two things that will be vital to high-performing teams in modern workplaces: 1️⃣ Building deep, human connections to improve how we work together 2️⃣ Using AI to make day-to-day work more efficient When I wrote the original outline for Rising Team, I had a section about a personalized AI coach. Although I could envision it, the technology wasn’t yet available to build it…until now. This summer, we’re introducing aRTi, a conversational AI leadership coach that combines research-based leadership best practices with unique insights about individual team members gathered from Rising Team sessions. aRTi will provide personalized recommendations and scripts, helping managers and their teams give effective feedback, accommodate working style preferences, show appreciation, and more. We are immensely grateful to have found a partner in Nasir C. Qadree and the team at Zeal that passionately believes in our product and is eager to elevate it. Together, we’re committed to combining deep human connection with intuitive AI capabilities to support every leader and team inside an organization to thrive in today’s workplace. Thrilled to share this piece in Fortune today on the advancements and continued opportunity in the women’s health space that have been driven by the combined efforts of founders, funders, and public partners. Today female founders are reshaping the standards of care and are completely transforming the way consumers interact with the healthcare system, from the emergence of digital health platforms to products and wearables. Today, it is encouraging to see policy picking up to support these efforts given it wasn’t until 1993 that women were finally required to be included in clinical trials. Over the last ten years, women’s health has been a key focus area of Female Founders Fund and we are proud of the milestones our companies have achieved, including Maven Clinic, Oula, Kindra, Branch Care & Gabbi. We are equally excited about category defining leaders like Midi Health who are proving the opportunity in this space. As we look to the future of women's health, we believe that solutions can become even more personalized to consumers with the adaptation of AI and advanced technologies. Additionally, policies geared towards offering employer benefits for fertility, menopause, and more and shifting the burden of payment from the consumer are necessary to increase accessibility. Read the full article here! Thank you to Jessica Mathews and the Fortune team for partnering together on this piece.
