When children come to us for counseling, we engage their parents/caregivers to learn how they, too, can help their children. Of her family’s experience, one mother wrote: “The staff has been exceptional to my boys and me. Thank you for offering such a program. I didn't know where to go in the beginning of their trauma. After (my) initial call, I felt so relieved to have your help. The boys are now back to being kids again. Thank you.” These boys and the more than 12,000 individuals we serve annually are the reason for our unwavering commitment to our mission: Ending the cycle of child abuse by promoting individual well-being and healthy family relationships.
